You will need to download and install the demo version of Silhouette first. Please visit this page and select Silhouette to download the demo if you have not already done so.
Once you installed the demo version of Silhouette, start Illustrator. If you installed the standalone version of Silhouette. Start Silhouette.
To obtain your Application code, choose your version of Silhouette below.
1. Locate the Silhouette toolboxes in the Illustrator toolbox and click on one of the Silhouette tools. You should have the tool palette appear on your screen. If you don't see it, go to #2.
2. If you don't see the Silhouette palette, go to the Window menu and select Show Silhouette Tools Settings.
3. OK. At this point you should have the Silhouette palette on your screen. It should look like the screen shot to your right. Click on the arrow located on the top right hand corner and select Register Silhouette...
4. Now you should have the Activate Silhouette dialog on your screen and it should display your Application code. Please let us know this code at the time of order. Thank you!
Silhouette plug-in for Macintosh

Silhouette Pro (Standalone) for Macintosh
1. Start Silhouette Pro and go to the Silhouette menu and choose Activate...
2. The Activation code dialog will appear on your screen. Please send us your Application code to us when ordering and we will issue your Activation code. Thanks!
